Monarch Butterfly Conservation in Alberta

Planting native plants is an ongoing goal of this lab to support monarch habitat and general butterfly habitat in Alberta.

 Citizen science and community engagement is an important part of this project. Making butterfly and other pollinator education and research more engaging and accessible to the community is vital for conservation efforts.   We are also happy to present on butterfly identification, conservation, and research. 

Another focus of this project is creating educational resources and a community resource guide on monarch butterfly and other pollinator conservation and education in Alberta.
